daunting. consuming me whole.
blinding darkness
harmless. i hang on for solace.
pseudo warmth
robbed. seeping away.
clinging on
mocking. unveiled.
realisation
face to face with. truth.
If sadness cascades into your heart,
and lingers in doleful morass.
If happiness falters in shroud,
and leaves before grazing your brow.
