Read estel's blog and AAARRGGHHH~~~~~!!! Her entry was about WAR!!!

Don't get me wrong. It's not the thought of war that kills me, I have already accepted the fact that Singapore might be a potential target of terrorists because it only takes one bomb =X But the fact that I've been injected war poems written by this toopid Wilfred Owen for more than half a year during literature lessons that sometimes I wish I could cut off Adolf Hitler's other ball to make myself feel better =D

But still, not ALL poems are detestable. I do like a couple of them though =) These lines are my favourite...

(Directed to those ignorant of the destructiveness of war and actually supported sending men off to fight in it.)

I think poems which adopt an overly complex and indirect language are dreadful to read. Bleah. Sometimes, simple terms and unfanciful words are what drive the message in.
