BACK FROM HIATUS!!! ^^Hoho been missing me? =D *silence* Silence means consent!!! =) I knew it!
Anyway...it's January again. One of the most detestable months of the year (no offence to Jan babies =P) because it shakes you awake from your December slumber and thrust you into the monstrous face of SCHOOL!!! That's for me lah. Heh but this will be the LAST year I'll be hating the transition of years since January most likely won't be the start of any shitty business anymore, whether I make it to the U or not =)
And yay seems like MOST of the peeps have managed to settle on a job (no regards yet to whether it being desirable or not beh) which I want to weep and bawl about...Why the hell did it take me almost one WHOLE month two years back before landing myself into a revoltingly distastful job?! =( But on second thoughts, AT LEAST I know NEVER ever to WORK in a restaurant again as a kitchen helper, especially one that recycles its tartar sauce and the poor helper was the one being entasked to do that dirty job. What the hell! Can you imagine me having to dig/pick/clip out the fritter crumbs from the sauce and and spooning the rest back into the sticky container where the sides have turned yellow and the label all wrinkled and torn?! Which is why I always mouth my prayers to the customers who order Fish & Chips because:
a) They might get food poisoning
b) They might develop raspy throats or contract other severe diseases since the fish and fries were deep-fried in oil that is only changed once a month
c) They have foolishly parted with $28 for some junk as their lunch/dinner
Moral of the story:
Don't work for some assholes for over 2 months and committing yourself to whole loads of crappy work while commanding $5/hour and also, DON'T order Fish & Chips. (Never ask about the rest of my work experience, it will scare you stiff and make me all agonised =/)
Back to the point, I guess not all had gotten satisfactory jobs especially Miao. As for some guys, they've already plunged into the bottomless pit of endless marching/drilling/cheering/... to fight for our country and to create a better tomorrow for all, hence we should be vigilant and defend ourselves since no one owes us a living and yada yada yada; which can be summarised shortly into N.S. =P Jia you wo~, everyone! Know it's gonna be tough for this period of time, but it'll be over one day =) Haiz I should fret for myself too...I'm in such deep shit I'm starting to be unable to see light (not literally). Though the ONLY console is that my timetable is pretty pleasing:
NO MORE 5 HOURS BREAK! =) For those who'd gone through a drought, even dung is whetting (sorry, bad analogy) so any timetable which doesn't have MORE breaks that lessons is GOOD ^^
And I must say this: I MISS S5C and all the funny/lame/biantai people that sadly, have now graduated =( Urgh not that my class is sucky or anything, but it's VERY clique-ish and it seems that between each cliques there are invisible walls and barricades. It can get sick and tiring to have to huddle among your own group of friends and careful not to cross the line. I mean we're all in this together so what's all this differentiation for?! Hmph. Just hoping that as the days go by the obstacles will vanish...but I'm quite skeptical about it =( Especially when I think about my C.T. who is apparently one of the most NORMAL and POPULAR beings in school *sobs*
So it all amounts to my favourite line of all time: Fate is CRUEL. Let's try to look at the bright side lah. *pouring torrents outside* Okay, it's the rainy season, I get it.
