Event: "The One" Qualifying Round
Venue: LT4
Day & Date: Thursday, 01/02/07
Commencement Time: 1730~1800
Participating Strength: 24 soloists; 8 groups
Reasons for the Above Arrangments:EVENT - There are no vocabulary problems in calling the audition the Preliminary Round and the semi-finals the Qualifying Round.
*VENUE - There will somehow be tons of sane NY peeps who will come and watch, hence filling the 600 seater LT because it
doesn't matter that there is school on Friday.
*DAY & DATE - As stated previously, it
doesn't matter that there is school on Friday.
*COMMENCEMENT TIME - Timetable is the root of all evil.
*PARTICIPATING STRENGTH - They figure that it is okay for ALL participants to perform an item of roughly 5 minutes each and end the whole event by who-knows-what-time (at least 9 p.m.) because once again, it
doesn't matter that there is school on Friday.
Remarks: Hallelujah to all J2s who read H2 Econs because there is an 1 hour lecture test on Friday which determines if you are required to attend remedial lessons. This includes yours truly. *dry laughter*
