Me: (totally lost) 歹势...蝦米是'公干'??? 不是出國公干嗎?
-momentary pause-
Aunt: 就是説, 被
公衆圍

GREEEEEEETINGS! :DDD
Yes yes hello my dears. :) *waves* I've arrived in one piece in good ol' Taipei! The plane ride was smooth, despite being cooped in the window seat with two hunky men sitting beside. :/ No biggie on that, when considering what happened afterward - Idiotically stood I by the conveyer belt, neck craned in desperation and just waiting for my luggage to roll out. And just
that took
one whole freakin' hour. @%!$@*&^$@... 'Nuff said.
Anyway I was glad to see my grandma and aunt when I finally stepped out of the customs, and there began the usual catching-up and commenting of how much we've changed from last time. For me - Physically, a bit? Mentally, still sane? :S
Then we spent the rest of the evening lolling around and unpacking and chit-chatting and yada yada - stuff you'd do on your first night (!) to settle down. Sunday was dandy fine and basically a day for jalan jalan-ing!
The good:
OMGhowthehelldidtheymakethingssokawaiiyetnotdisgustinglycute?? :O There are hints of Japanese culture everywhere ie. (economical XD) bento lunches being sold at 7-11, high-school girls in knee-high socks and bling-ing from head to toe, high-school boys donning spiky hair and up-to-date accessories and gothic shirts that bear skulls and grim reapers and tarantulas etc., service/lift ladies bowing (too much) and beckoning customers in a nasal voice and close to falsetto pitch. O_O BUT, all's very refreshing and it's nice to jump out of Singlish once in a while and be surrounded by sleek Taiwanese mandarin...Which will become my first and sole language for the coming month. :/ (I'll miss the 'lor' and 'lah' and 'meh' quite some bit. TT_TT On second thoughts, hm, this might be a good chance to cure my flawless singlish.)
The bad: OMG. The temperature is: *drumrolls* 31 deg. C! *sighs* So much for hoping for a lil' late Spring breeze! T_T
Hoho, but all's good and all's well! :D It's monday morn and here I'm hogging my aunt's com to contribute to blogosphere! Well, I doubt I'll get connected much since I'm staying over at my grandma's and it's unwired, but I'll jump at every opportunity to link with the world~ XD
It's very vital you know, this internet thing. :)
P.S. I probably won't be able to type Chinese characters because...I know nuts about zhu4 yin1 fu2 hao4! TTT___TTT Though now's a good time to learn, agree not?

It's not without a reason why I
hate Singapore's climate at times. It's so
freakin' hot -
I caught the chills.

If I can, I'd rather be ignorant than nonchalant.

Hello world! :D
So how long has it been? *scrolls down* WHAT? O_O
10 days shy of 8 months??? Now THAT'S a new record. (Eh, not that I'm proud of it XD) Haha, it's only right I justify for my LONG absence, but surely you wouldn't want to hear me wax lyrical about the ins and outs of everyday jobs ne? Simply put, I've been pretty much working my butt off (really!) the past months, cursing at the drudgeries but learning to take pleasure in them at the end of day. Cheesy, much? Well, that's working life for you! And I believe you all understand it as much as I do, if not better. XD Haha...
The FLIPSIDE - OMG I've lost touch with (almost) everyone. DDD: Terrible terrible terrible! T_______T I sincerely hope no one had run away/killed someone/committed arson/won lottery/hooked on a tycoon/changed sex during this time? (Nah, I haven't. At least, none of the above. Wish I had rocked the world or shattered earth. *sighs*) Then again, no news means good news! Thus I shall take it that everyone out there is alive and kicking yes yes? :DDD
Anyway! As some of you might have already known, I managed to bump into a place @ NTU Chinese! :) (Yes, I must have used up ALL my good karmas this time round, so it's time to perform good deeds again. Now throw me the brownie uniform.) Yep I know there're plenty of potential course mates out there whom are already KAWAN with yours truly, so double YAY! To be honest, I'm still rather keen on getting a degree from Taiwan, but oh wells, the fact that it's four years without Honours + it's generally unrecognised kinda brands it second class to any public local U huh? Not to forget I gotta start learning 注音符号 and 繁体字! Alright, lion city rocks my socks.
Oh and since I'm on Taiwan, I'll be flying there on 24th May and staying there for 5 weeks! Hey it's been 3.5 years since I set foot there so cut me some slack. :) And I'll probably be funding myself for quite some expenses, so it's gonna be pocket-burning amidst all the fun... :S But I've been thinking it'll be darn cool if anyone of you would gladly come along! What say you? :D
Oh boy, time I get back to work! (As you might've guessed, I'm typing this entry from my office desk. Hoho.) Yeah I'll be back with more. SOON. (Trust me! :/)
Gosh, I miss all of you! ILUSM! <333
P.S. To all of you who've stayed with me, given me advices and basically been the lovely guys you are when I was feeling under the weather the past couple of months with uni applications, THANK YOU! *hugs* Heh, I'm all fine now, courtesy of you peeps! :DDD
